The Center for Juvenile Justice is a
collaboration between the Department of Corrections (Division
of Juvenile Justice) and Southern Maine Community College (represented
by BHSI).
The purpose of the Center for Juvenile Justice is to support the mission of the Division of Juvenile Services, specifically "to promote public safety by ensuring that juvenile offenders are provided with education, treatment, and other services that teach skills and competence, strengthen pro-social behavior and require accountability to victims and communities."
