The Spurwink Institute is an active advocate at the state and national level on a wide variety of mental health, behavioral health and education issues. Our senior staff and board members serve on task forces, commissions and the boards of public and not-for-profit organizations committed to high quality services in the issue areas described above. Our grants, contracts and consulting work all focus on the development of best professional practices based on sound public policy. The Institute actively participates in public policy discussion at the local, state and national level and seeks to integrate the use of accurate data and research results in public policy decision-making.
